Choose Aerospace exists to help close that gap by preparing learners for real-world aviation maintenance careers and connecting them to the education, credentials, and opportunities needed to succeed.

Choose Aerospace is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the aerospace workforce pipeline through education, access, and industry alignment.
Our mission is to meet the evolving needs of the aerospace workforce community through benevolent efforts that promote industry career awareness and create accessible, attainable pathways to aerospace careers.
We develop and deliver industry-aligned curriculum that aligns to FAA mechanic standards and provides early pathways to a career in aviation maintenance. Our programs are designed to be flexible and scalable—serving students, educators, and employers across a variety of learning environments.
Our Programs
Choose Aerospace programs are built around a nationally aligned aviation maintenance curriculum designed to support delivery of the FAA standards’ General subject areas. The curriculum serves as a foundational tool that can be implemented across multiple education and training environments. Organizations currently using the Choose Aerospace curriculum include:

Choose Aerospace is largely dependent on industry contributions to sustain its work. Support from airlines, maintenance organizations, manufacturers, and other aerospace stakeholders directly fund our operations, national outreach efforts, and student scholarship programs.
This industry-funded model is essential. Aerospace employers understand workforce needs better than anyone, and their investment ensures that education pathways remain aligned with real hiring demand—not theoretical outcomes.
